Brief Trips to Sanity

As any of my friends can testify...my life has been one long series of unbelievable but yet hysterical events. Some not so funny at the time...but given time and perspective, they have proved to be the material of great stories that will be told for generations. Maybe my scribbles here will give you some incite into my twisted, but yet entertaining head.

Calm Before the Storm:

This is gonna be a quick late night post before I head off to catch my plane. A week of vacation in the Carribean is just what the doctor ordered for this exhausted doctor. If I hadn't planned this over a year ago, I probably wouldn't have gone...but I'm excited about the chance to take a break from all the frantic changes. We spent the day yesterday watching Cory get his master's degree from UNCG (and Becky...congrats!) and today I attended my hooding ceremony at Wait Chapel of Wake Forest. Mom made a whirlwind trip into town to attend, celebrate mother's day, and help me pack. Cory is in charge of keeping my apartment lived in and the cats entertained this week...it will be funny to hear how that goes when I return. I'll check in once I return. I should have some good stories from graduation, the trip, and the last minute packing.
